Rodrigo's has some pretty decent Mexican food and drinks for the right price. This particular Rodrigo's is located in Orange. They have decent parking but parking is also available on the street.
My go to is the taco and margarita sampler for $11.99 you get a flight of margaritas and a flight of tacos, deal in my book. The tacos were chicken, steak and carne asada. They were cooked to perfection. Only ding is the margaritas were sugar overload and I just couldn't get half way through each margarita, so your girl WAS BUMMED! Otherwise, the enchiladas were delicious. My hunny cleared the plate. The guacamole is also to die for. A little on the higher end $7.95 considering the prices of other plates, but the serving is HUGE and delicious.
Overall, this restaurant is cozy and small. I can see it getting busy. Prices for the plating is very reasonable and overall pretty good food. I will definitely be back!

This is by far one of the worst experiences I've had dining out. I ordered the happy hour nachos with carne asada. I was given a nachos with carne asada sprinkled on top. You had to dig through the nachos to find any remnants of carne asada. I called my waitress to let her know that I was dissatisfied with the amount of carne asada on the nachos. I went as far as separating the carne asada on the right side of the plate. As seen on attached image. It fit in 1 spoon.

The manager was Rafael Carbajal. Awful customer service. He said they could not offer any more carne asada, stating that the portion is pre-weighed at 6oz. I then asked to have them take back the nachos. Rafael Carbajal refused to take back the nachos and made me pay for nachos that I didn't even eat. I paid because it did not make sense to sit there and argue with him.

I FEEL LIKE I GOT ROBBED BY THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I had to pay for nachos that I didn't even eat. Had three pieces of nachos, no carne Asada. The images attached to this review is what I left.

If you come here and you don't like your food or question it....just know that you are stuck to your order. Even if you don't eat you will have to pay. For it. As for myself, that was the most expensive Arnold Palmer I've ever ordered.

Terrible experience and won't be back.

    So the goods:
    We were sat right away
We were brought water right away
Food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write about

    Cons:
    It's very loud inside
My husband's alcohol came faster than my ice tea ever did
The prices aren't high but they nickel and dime you!

I ordered a quesadilla which is supposed to come with sour cream and jalapeños. I ordered no sour cream. The quesadilla only had four jalapeños on it so of course I ordered a side because I love my peppers!
When we got the bill they charged an additional 75¢ for the peppers that were already supposed to come with my meal! It really irks me that they charge extra for something I was already supposed to get, especially since I know they just come out of a large can AND I didn't have them put the sour cream which costs more than peppers do anyways.

And to make the entire experience so so much worse, there was a party of about 12 that would not stop playing extremely loud iPhone videos of what sounded like a dying cat! Not one waiter asked them to lower the volume or be respectful of every other person trying to enjoy their meals with their families.

    Won't be back.

Rodrigo's is chain. At least I know they are in the Orange County and Los Angeles county. That's where I have encountered them.

We came here after Brenda's birthday dinner. We only came for drinks. So I can't comment on the food. I have been to others. And it's good Mexican food. But we mainly ordered beers and drinks.

I do like their margaritas here. You can get one the size of you head. And the prices for drinks here are very reasonable. Not high. Actually a little low. But let's keep that among us reading.

The bartender was on point. Got us water right away. He saw that we were already a bit loud. So he must of known we had been drinking. Everyone was pleased with their drinks.

My family absolutely loves the food here including me. I especially love the thick spicy salsa and the light chips. I had a all meat burrito with extra cheese and my wife had a chicken tostada to make dinner tonight excellent including the fast and friendly service.
